Spring Break for our district has arrived and we couldn’t be more excited! Term two was a speedy fast term, and although I’m not as tired and worn out as I was after term one, I am still very thankful for this upcoming two week break.

Meaghan and I have decided that, unlike our last two week break, we still want to keep blogging while we’re not teaching.  That being said, we want to blog about things that aren’t related to teaching (crazy hey?) Believe it or not, teachers don’t eat, breathe, sleep teaching…at least not all the time.  We have other things going on in our lives and we’re excited to share and blog about them over the next two weeks.  Tale of Two Teachers will very much become a “lifestyle blog” until March 24th! We hope you enjoy.

I’m jetsetting this evening and will return next week some time! First things on my list of Teachers’ Time Out luxuries:

One of my most favourite books. I finally bought myself a used version and plan to read it in approximately two days.

After school yesterday I had an appointment downtown so I made sure to swing by lululemon and say "heeeey" to my girls there. Oh, I also found a new oversized, Spring-coloured cardigan. Girl's gotta reward herself for surviving term two!

I was just in SF last year, but this time I’m going with my husband and we are hanging out with some of our closest friends who moved there in late 2013. I might just come back with a tan…flip flops already packed.

Cheers to all you hard-working, late-night-marking, never-giving-up educators.  You deserve this break. Relax, recharge and do something for you! (and share with us what you’re up to!)
